The Future of Work

For many years I’ve had the great pleasure to count Kevin Wheeler as a friend. Kevin as well as being a world class and vastly experienced HR Consultant, is a true Visionary. He runs the Future of Talent “think tank” and twice a year hosts his excellent Future of Talent Retreats. These events enable HR & Recruiting professionals to get away from their daily grind, think about ‘Work & Recruiting 2020’ and start to plan for the momentous changes ahead.

So what do these potential impacts look like? Well they are what you might call the “Big Topics”:

  • What will work look like in 2020 and beyond?
  • What will be the impact on our economies (i.e. tax etc)?
  • Where will we work and what will the working environment look like?
  • How will Gen Z and the new generation (A&B?) view Work and Life?
  • What will the impact of automation and other “new” technologies?
  • What type of new jobs might exist?
  • What will the “new” company look like?
  • And what will be the impact on HR & Recruiting?

Each month 52N and its sister company Resource Central will share the best blogs on the subject.

Keith @ 52n
With a 30 year career in Publishing, Media and Recruiting I have seen and been a part of some smart thinking. Founded ‘Personnel Today’ and a decade of senior roles with two global Ad Agencies and I was fortunate enough to be part of the original global JB Brands (TotalJobs). This multi-channel, geo-local experience is what I now give to any Talent & HR business need.
